A pressure of 5GPa was used, temperatures of 1100, 1200, and 1300oC, for times of 2 and 5 minutes. The best results were obtained for samples sintered at 5GPa/1300oC/5min., where a micro-hardness of 4.8GPa, fracture toughness of 5.3MPa.m½, density of 97.9%, and 88% in volume of a tetragonal phase retained at room temperature were achieved. %N 1 %T High pressure sintered ZrO2-6 % wt REO %@secondarytype PRE PN %K ZrO2, Rare earth oxides, Sintering, High pressures,Tetragonal phase. %@visibility shown %@group LAS-INPE-MCT-BR %@secondarykey INPE-15109-PRE/10016 %@copyholder SID/SCD %@issn 0350-820X %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m17@80/2007/12.21.13.31.48 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense (UENF) %@affiliation Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense (UENF) %B Science of Sintering %P 17-24 %4 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m17@80/2007/12.21.13.31 %D 2007 %V 39 %@doi 10.2298/SOS0701017K %A Kuranaga, %A Bobrovnitchii, %A Filgueira, M., %@dissemination WEBSCI %@area FISMAT
