Regarding to that variation from ionospheric sources, the equatorial electrojet is the main source of the H-component variations along to the dip equator. In latitudes away distant from the dip equator, we expect the effect to be reduced, resting the Solar Quiet (Sq) E-Region system influence only. In the present work we intend to analyze the H-component of the magnetic field in magnetically quiet days, registered at three magnetic stations that cover regions close, close apart and away from the dip equator: São Luís (2.33° S, 44.20°), Eusébio (3.89°S, 38.44°O) and São Martinho da Serra (29.43° S, 53.80° W), respectively. We will show a statistical analysis of the H-component variations of the magnetic field at these three latitudes including a comparative study of the difference between the mean values measured at each minute and the local midnight value. Wee will also show the evolution of the dip angle at the three stations. The Dst magnetic index was used to classify magnetic activity. %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DAE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DAE-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group RSU-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DGE-INPE-MCT-BR %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Centro Regional Sul de Pesquisas Espaciais – CRS/CIE/INPE %@affiliation Observatório Magnético de Vassouras–OMV/ON–MCT, Vassouras-RJ %D 2007 %A Daroit, Cézar A., %A Mangalathayil, Ali Abdu, %A Schuch, Nelson Jorge, %A Nardin, Clezio De, %A Aveiro, Henrique C., %A Moor, Lilian P., %A Jaskulski, Tiago, %A Moro, Juliano, %A Siqueira, Josemar de, %A Espindola, Cassio A., %A Rother, Fagner C., %A Trivedi, Nalin Babulal, %@area CEA %T Comparative study of the H-Component variations of the earth magnetic field during quiet days at three magnetic Stations in the south american sector %F self-archiving-INPE-MCTIC-GOV-BR %@versiontype publisher %S Proceedings %@secondarykey INPE--PRE/ %2 sid.inpe.br/mtc-m17@80/2007/11.23.23.18.29 %@documentstage not transferred %C Rio de Janeiro, RJ %@holdercode {isadg {BR SPINPE} ibi 8JMKD3MGPCW/3DT298S}
