It is based on the fine-by-line and Monte-Carlo methods and is suitable for accurate treatment of both the gaseous absorption and the particulate multiple scattering in any spectral regions; other published algorithrns as accurate as this can orily make calculations in narrow spectral regions. It is recommended that this algorithrn is we11 suited for radiation code validations as we11 as for theoretical investigations of radiative transfer in clouds and aerosols and satellite signal simulations. %8 May %N 1 %@secondarydate 20051216 %T Monte-Carlo algorithm for line-by-line calculations of thermal radiation in multiple scattering layered atmospheres %K Atmospheric radiation, longwave, scattering and absorption, Line-by-line,Monte Carlo. %@secondarytype PRE PI %@group DSA-INPE-MCT-BR %@e-mailaddress atus@cptec.inpe.br %@copyholder SID/SCD %@secondarykey INPE-13435-PRE/8648 %2 sid.inpe.br/iris@1915/2005/12.08.12.21.12 %@affiliation Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE)/CPTEC %P 107-115 %4 sid.inpe.br/iris@1915/2005/12.08.12.21 %D 2005 %V 98 %A Fomin, Boris Alexeevitch, %@area MET
