Recent advances in Amazonian climate modelling are also discussed. There is a range of papers which fall into three groups: surface fluxes and boundary layer growth; convection, clouds and rainfall; and climate modelling. The new insight given by this work is discussed and an argument is made for future research to employ a wider approach to Amazonian climate modelling. %8 Jun. %N 1-3 %T Amazonian climate: results and future research %@secondarytype PRE PI %K model. %@group DMD-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DSA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group CG-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DSA-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DMD-INPE-MCT-BR %@group DSA-INPE-MCT-BR %@e-mailaddress atus@cptec.inpe.br %@secondarykey INPE-10639-PRE/6101 %@copyholder SID/SCD %U http://www.springerlink.com/media/9B6A715FE60JYHB06RRQ/Contributions/0/2/A/C/02ACMU95FV1DHRT2.pdf %2 cptec.inpe.br/walmeida/2004/05.13.11.04.30 %@affiliation CPTEC-INPE-Cachoeira Paulista-12630-000-SP-Brasil %@affiliation CPTEC-INPE-Cachoeira Paulista-12630-000-SP-Brasil %@affiliation %@affiliation CPTEC-INPE-Cachoeira Paulista-12630-000-SP-Brasil %@affiliation CPTEC-INPE-Cachoeira Paulista-12630-000-SP-Brasil %@affiliation CPTEC-INPE-Cachoeira Paulista-12630-000-SP-Brasil %@affiliation %@affiliation %@affiliation CPTEC-INPE-Cachoeira Paulista-12630-000-SP-Brasil %@affiliation %@affiliation %@affiliation %B Theoretical and Applied Climatology %P 187-193 %4 cptec.inpe.br/walmeida/2004/05.13.11.04 %@documentstage fabia %D 2004 %V 78 %A Gash, J.
