| Abstract | Este trabalho mostra o regime dos ventos de quatro torres eólicas do projeto SONDA. Estas torres estão localizadas no Nordeste em Petrolina, Triunfo, Belo Jardim e São João do Cariri. As medidas foram tomadas a 50m de altura, exceto Petrolina que foi a 25m, para o período de junho de 2004 a setembro de 2005, exceto Triunfo que foi até junho de 2005. A média anual da direção predominante e da distribuição dos ventos são apresentadas. Somente a estação de Triunfo apresentou valores acima de 7 m/s. A variabilidade anual da intensidade média dos ventos e o parâmetro de foma, k, da distribuição de Weibull mostram ventos mais intensos no inverno em Petrolina e Triunfo. This work shows the wind regime of four wind towers installed by the SONDA project. These towers are located in Northeast Brazil in Petrolina, Triunfo, Belo Jardim and São João do Cariri. Wind was measured at 50 m elevation, except in Petrolina which was measured at 25m, for the period from June 2004 and september 2005, except Triunfo, where the period was up to June 2005. The annual mean values of the predominant wind direction and wind speed distribution are shown. Only Triunfo station showed mean speed over 7 m/s. The annual variability of the mean winds and the Weibull distribution k-shape factor show that only in Triunfo was observed the most intense winds in winter. |
