Abstract | O Sistema de Organização Nacional de Dados Ambientais para o Setor de Energia (SONDA) é um projeto coordenado pelo Centro de Previsão de Tempo e Estudos Climáticos (CPTEC/INPE MCT), e foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de melhorar a base de dados ambientais, necessária para o levantamento de recursos renováveis e o planejamento do uso das energias solar e eólica no território brasileiro. O SONDA conta com estações em diferentes regiões do país, equipadas com medidores de radiação solar, vento e dados meteorológicos. Os equipamentos da estação SONDA de São Martinho da Serra (RS) operam juntamente com os sensores de radiação ultravioleta e ozônio do Programa de Monitoramento do Ozônio Atmosférico (PMOA/ UFSM/INPE) no Observatório Espacial do Sul (OES/CRSPE/INPE MCT; Lat.: 29,44ºS, Lon.: 53.82ºO). Esse trabalho consiste na determinação de modelos lineares simples para estimativa de radiação UV-B (radiação ultravioleta do tipo B), com base em dados de radiação solar global, radiação fotossinteticamente ativa e medidas de coluna total de ozônio atmosférico efetuadas pelo satélite TOMS (Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer). A radiação ultravioleta é responsável por diversos danos biológicos, dentre eles câncer de pele e problemas oculares. Os modelos foram determinados por método de regressão linear múltipla. The National Organization System of Environmental Data for the Energy Sector (SONDA) is a project coordinated by the Brazilian Center of Weather Forecast and Climate Studies (CPTEC/INPE - MCT). This project was created aiming to improve the environmental database, required for the assessment of renewable resources and for the exploration of solar and aeolic energy resources in the Brazilian territory. The SONDA project is composed by a network of stations equipped with sensors for measurement of solar radiation, wind and meteorological data. A SONDA station installed at São Martinho da Serra RS (south Brazil) has its equipments installed with the ultraviolet radiation and ozone meters of the Atmospheric Ozone Monitoring Program (PMOA/ UFSM/INPE), on a platform located in the Southern Space Observatory (OES/CRSPE/INPE - MCT; Lat.: 29,44ºS, Lon.: 53,82ºO). This study comprises the fitting of simple linear models to be used for the solar UV-B radiation estimation, based on data of global solar radiation, photosynthetically activate radiation (PAR) and measurements of total atmospheric ozone column accomplished by the TOMS satellite (Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer). Ultraviolet radiation causes several biological damages, including skin cancer and ocular problems. The models were fitthed by the multiple linear regression method.. |
