How to cite the Document identified by the URI <upn:K28A8B:x6e6X3pFwXQZ3DUS8rS5/yggNn> in your draft document, using the INPE standard (BibINPE format)

There are two ways to cite the Document: by means of a relative link* or an absolute link**.

1. If your document is deposited in one of the Archives that support relative links†, it is recommended to use the following citation format:

FRANCHITO, S. H.; RAO, V. B.; FERNANDEZ, J. P. R.; CHAPA, S. R. Transport of quasi-geostrophic potential vorticity and its use in simple climate models. Revista Brasileira de Meteorologia, v. 17, n. 1, p. 19-33, Junho 2002. (INPE-15088-PRE/9997). Available from: <upn:K28A8B:x6e6X3pFwXQZ3DUS8rS5/yggNn>.

2. In other cases, the traditional citation is used:

FRANCHITO, S. H.; RAO, V. B.; FERNANDEZ, J. P. R.; CHAPA, S. R. Transport of quasi-geostrophic potential vorticity and its use in simple climate models. Revista Brasileira de Meteorologia, v. 17, n. 1, p. 19-33, Junho 2002. (INPE-15088-PRE/9997). Available from: <http://urlib.net/upn:K28A8B:x6e6X3pFwXQZ3DUS8rS5/yggNn>.

† The complete list of Archives that accept relative links can be found at: <upn:9HFNHE-:QABCDSTQQW/4E7MG35/federatedArchives.txt>. This list contains all Archives on the IBI network. To create a relative link, simply add the prefix ./ to the URI, writing it like this: <./upn:K28A8B:x6e6X3pFwXQZ3DUS8rS5/yggNn>. This prefix replaces the protocol (e.g., http) and the resolver's domain name (e.g., urlib.net), making the connection more stable.

* Relative link: omits the resolver's protocol and domain name, which guarantees its persistence over time.

** Absolute link: includes the resolver's protocol and domain name, making it susceptible to discontinuity in the long term.

*** URI: Uniform Resource Identifier.
